Dr. Sarita Shrestha attended Ayurvedic school in India and had a one year post graduate opportunity in gynecology which qualified her as the first female physician to practice holistic women’s medicine in Nepal. She has been practicing for 25 years in Kathmandu, Nepal, as a specialist in infertility. She has been teaching ayurveda and yoga in Nepal, India and America for the last seven years and all the money she raises from those ventures goes to support a hospital she started in Baktapur, Nepal. Her goal is to make ayurvedic medicine accessible to the rural people of Nepal.
